Why everyone keeps coming back.

Located in the vibrant heart of Torreón, Tacos La Joya is a must-visit taco restaurant that truly captures the essence of authentic Mexican street food. Specializing in classic tacos, this local gem serves up a tantalizing variety of options that promise to delight every taco lover.

Their signature orders, like the Orden De Suadero and Orden De Pastor, come with four mouthwatering tacos each, crafted from juicy, tender meats nestled between double corn tortillas. The suadero tacos are notable for their rich, savory flavor without the greasiness, perfectly complemented by a fresh topping of salsa, chopped onion, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime. Similarly, the pastor tacos boast a smoky, slightly sweet profile that melts on the tongue, offering an unforgettable taste experience. For those craving pork, the Orden De Carnitas delights with its flavorful leg meat, tender and generously portioned.

Aside from the traditional offerings, Tacos La Joya shines with its creative gringa selections. The Gringa Sencilla and Gringa Mega provide irresistible combinations of melted cheese, grilled onions, and meat encased in warm flour tortillas—each bite delivering a harmonious balance of smoky, savory, and cheesy goodness. The Ultra Gringa, layered with four tortillas and packed with ooey-gooey cheese, takes indulgence to a whole new level.

To wash it all down, the restaurant offers refreshing beverages like Agua Mango, Agua de Jamaica, and the classic Agua de Horchata, each at an inviting price and bursting with sweet, natural flavors that perfectly cleanse the palate.

The atmosphere here leans towards casual and inviting, making it an ideal spot for families and friends to gather any time of day—even late at night when the friendly staff ensures every guest is warmly welcomed. Customers appreciate the prompt and attentive service, a testament to the team’s genuine hospitality. While some feel the ambiance could be enhanced with more decor, the incredible food and comfortable vibe keep patrons coming back for more.

In summary, Tacos La Joya isn't just about eating; it's about savoring an authentic taste of Mexican culinary tradition delivered with care and passion. Whether you're a local or visiting Torreón, this spot promises tacos that are juicy, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients that will leave your senses thoroughly satisfied.

With the choice of four meats available to choose from this taco shop concentrates on it's craft. Suadero, buche, adovada, bistek is what's available to choose from. The street style tacos small double tortilla is what they specialize on. Suadero is the most sought after meat at this establishment. Suadero  is a thin cut of meat from the intermediate part of the cow or pork between the belly and the leg. Suadero is noted for having a smooth texture rather than a muscle grain. The establishment is managed well and the waiters are very attentive and bring your order within ten minutes since the cooks are prepping tortillas on the comal and meat is simmer before your eyes. A plate of onions and cilantro are brought out with your order to use as a topping for your tacos.
